Prince Andrew’s Ex-Wife, Sarah Ferguson, Storms Out Of Interview After Being Asked If She’ll Leave $38 Million Mansion That King Wants Back
Sarah Ferguson walked out of an interview after she was asked if she would be moving out of Royal Lodge, the $38 million mansion where she has lived with ex-husband Prince Andrew since 2004.
The battle over Royal Lodge has been an ongoing issue for most of 2024 after King Charles attempted to evict his brother Andrew from his prized home.
However, the Duke of York seemed to secure the home after coming into funds from a mystery source that has been paying the bills.
Ferguson recently secured a $620,000 TV deal in the U.S. on her own.
It appeared as if Ferguson was unwilling to answer any questions about her living situation, according to royal correspondent Richard Mineards.
In his latest column, Mineards wrote, “While other hacks were peppering her with inane questions, I asked Fergie, given her new contract, if she would at last be moving out of Royal Lodge, the Queen Mother’s former home near Windsor Castle, having said previously she couldn’t afford to run any of the homes offered her by her mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth. She was clearly not amused by my query and walked out of the room.”
The news comes after Fergie walked out of an interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes after being asked about her “cash for access” scandal in 2010. Ferguson later sued over the story with the issue being settled outside of court.
