On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian testified at the trial for the suspects involved in the Paris heist in October 2016.

The 2016 robbery saw five masked men tie Kardashian up and hold her at gunpoint, robbing her of almost $9 million in jewelry. Ten men have been accused of robbery.

In what many are calling an epic power move, Kardashian entered the courthouse sporting a $7 million diamond necklace not unlike the ones taken by the robbers.

In her testimony, Kardashian, 44, stated, “I absolutely did think I was gonna die.” She added that she was wearing nothing but a robe at the time of the robbery. When the men opened the robe, “exposing everything on my body, I was sure that I was going to get raped.”

She recalled telling the men, “I have babies and I need to get home to my babies,” but her plea was responded to with a “shut up” from one of the burglars.

Kardashian continued that she was then thrown on the bed with her hands and legs tied, and, “At that point I was sure that’s when they were going to shoot me…So I said a prayer for my family, and my mom, my sister and my best friend.”

She knew that her sister, Kourtney, was set to return to the hotel room later, and she feared, “I would be shot dead on the bed and she would see that and have that memory forever.”

The robbers proceeded to drop Kardashian on the bathroom floor and abandon her. Once she was confident they were gone, Kardashian freed her hands and made her way to her stylist’s room for help.

Kardashian emphasized that since she finished law school, she “spent a lot of time in prisons around people who committed crimes,” and subsequently, “I really do believe in second chances and believe in rehabilitation…I work in the justice system to provide these rehabilitation chances.”

Kardashian further stated that she once felt safe in Paris, but since the incident, she has enlisted four to six bodyguards to be at her side at all times, including at her home in California.
