Prince Harry’s family drama continued during his trip to London this week. His father, King Charles III, refused to answer his phone calls while he was in the country.

The Duke of Sussex and family patriarch remain as distant as ever.

Harry’s attorney told judges at London’s Royal Courts of Justice that the prince was mistreated when he was stripped of his British security detail after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, left the royal family and moved to the United States in 2020. After a two-day hearing, Harry spoke to reporters about the results of the legal battle.

“My fears were confirmed about the case’s legal disclosure, and it’s just sad,” Harry said. The Invictus Games founder added that he felt “exhausted” after spending two days in court.

Relations with the royal family got even worse when he and his wife accused them of racism and released a Netflix series on the family’s issues.

In January 2023, Harry’s memoir Spare revealed that his brother, Prince William, attacked him over his relationship with Markle.

King Charles, who is currently battling cancer, has reportedly stopped answering Harry’s calls to the point of “complete silence.”

“He gets ‘unavailable right now,'” a friend of Harry told People. “His calls go unanswered, and he has tried to reach out about the King’s health, but those calls go unanswered, too.”

Harry has since been concerned about the safety of his wife and children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, when they travel to the United Kingdom.
