Male Escort Daniel Phillip Gives Graphic Court Testimony About Sean Combs’ Abuse Of Cassie Ventura
Sean Combs’ trial has begun, and the first witness was a male escort who shared a detailed account of his harrowing experience with the musician.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 on multiple charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Among other counts, the industry mogul was accused of having days-long “freak off” parties in which he forced women to have sex with male escorts to the point of critical exhaustion. Women and male escorts have alleged that during the parties they were abused, drugged, raped and filmed against their will and more.
Combs has denied all wrongdoing and rejected a plea deal offer, insisting that the parties were fully consensual. His attorneys have argued that although charges of domestic abuse are true, others are false, and prosecutors are attempting to villainize Combs’ party lifestyle.
Among those expected to provide testimony later in the week is Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Ventura met Combs as a struggling artist at 19 when he was 37 in 2005. Their relationship became public in 2007, and the couple went on and off for years before separating in 2017. Last year, Ventura came forward with accusations of abuse against Combs, supported by a now-infamous video of 2016 hotel footage in which Combs viciously beat Ventura, kicking and dragging her out of a hotel.
On Monday, it was revealed to the jury by prosecutor Emily Johnson, “Cassie will tell you that she felt like she was choking when Combs made an escort urinate in her mouth.”
That afternoon, male escort Daniel Phillip, 41, was called to the witness stand and delivered an extremely graphic testimony of his time with Combs. Phillip recounted how, between the years of 2012 and 2014, he was paid between $700 and $6,000 to have sex with Ventura so Combs could watch and pleasure himself. One occasion involved Combs pressuring Phillip to urinate in Ventura’s mouth and body. Phillip noted that his sexual sessions with Ventura would last anywhere between one and 10 hours. He recalled watching Combs abuse Ventura on numerous occasions, dragging her into bedrooms for sex while she screamed and hearing him slap her repeatedly while she cried, “I’m sorry.”
“I was shocked,” Phillip said. “It came out of nowhere. I was terrified. I didn’t know what to do. In my mind…if I tried to do something I might lose my life…my thoughts were, [Combs] was someone with unlimited power…my life was at risk.”
Phillip remembered that at one point, Combs had taken a picture of his driver’s license, telling him it was “just for insurance, just in case,” and Phillip stated, “I understood it to be he was threatening me.”
Although Combs eventually stopped paying Phillip, Phillip continued to show up when texted, reported that he considered Ventura a friend and wanted to “check up” on her. When he asked her once why she was staying in an abusive relationship, she insisted she was fine.
