On Sunday, Riley Keough shared a Mother’s Day tribute to her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley.

Presley, the only child of Priscilla and Elvis Presley, died in January 2023 when she suffered a small bowel obstruction following a bariatric surgery. She was 54 years old.

The photo Keough, 35, posted to Instagram stories showed her sitting beside Presley as the two smiled for the camera, Keough’s twin half-siblings Harper and Finley behind them. Over the photo, Keough wrote, “Thinking of all of the mamas today – and our angel mama.”

In January, Keough shared a photo of her and Presley on Instagram stories to honor the second anniversary of her mother’s death. The photo, taken while on FaceTime, saw Keough smiling in the top corner of the screen while Presley beamed through their conversation. Keough added a red heart for the caption over the image. Keough also reposted some of the photos Harper and Finley had shared, showing a shot of Presley cradling one of the twins as a baby while the other slept in a crib nearby.

At Presley’s memorial service in January 2023 at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, Keough revealed that she and her husband Ben Smith-Petersen had recently welcomed their daughter, Tupelo.

Speaking about her parenting style to People in September, Keough shared, “I think that I always say it’s this southern style of parenting, but it’s actually very specifically my family…I think it is from the south, but whatever way she was parented was how I was parented, in a sense. And I also now sort of parent that way…it’s really loving and tactile and smothering – no boundaries.”

Lisa Marie shares Harper and Finley, 16, with her ex, Michael Lockwood, and she and her ex, Danny Keough, shared Riley and son Benjamin, who killed himself at 27 in July 2020.
