‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Star Kelly Bensimon Is Engaged To Scott Litner

Former Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Bensimon is engaged to her financier boyfriend, Scott Litner.

Litner reportedly proposed over the Independence Day weekend while on vacation in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The engagement ring Litner proposed with was a custom emerald-cut, five-carat diamond ring, which Bensimon showed off on her social media accounts.

“I never thought that I could be so happy at this stage in my life, this is truly a new beginning,” Bensimon told E! News.“We have a romance that people write novels about.”

Bensimon and Litner have been together for one year.

This will be Bensimon’s second trip to the wedding altar, as she was previously married to French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon. The former couple share two daughters together, Sea, 25, and Teddy, 23.

While Bensimon is primarily a real estate broker with Douglas Elliman, one of the country’s top and largest real estate brokerages, she is also set to appear in the upcoming spin-off of Real Housewives of New York.

Last month, she and her fellow original cast members began filming in St. Bart’s for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. A release date has not been announced.
