In a conversation with uInterview founder Erik Meers, Anna Lambe shared the significance of Netflix’s first Canadian and Native American show, North Of North, which follows Siaja (played by Lambe), an Inuk mother in a tiny Arctic community who dreams of reinventing herself. “Being able to tell the story and being part of something that will change the landscape of how the Arctic is represented in film and television and a whole new kind of real version of the Arctic. As an actor, I read the scripts and I was like, ‘This is so real to how I grew up.’” North of North is now streaming on Netflix.
