The nominations for the 91st Academy Awards were announced Tuesday morning, and two very distinct films — Roma and The Favourite — led the pack with 10 nods apiece.

There is still no host for this year’s Oscars — which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 24 and will air on ABC — and it appears that this is simply how the 2019 ceremony will go.

The Big Sick star Kumail Nanjiani and Black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross announced this year’s nominees.

Roma is a black-and-white semi-autobiographical drama film written and directed by Alfonso Cuaronand tells the story of a middle-class family from his hometown of Mexico City in the early 1970s during a tumultuous time in Mexico’s history. The film not only scored a Best Foreign Language Film nomination, but was also recognized in the Best Picture category.

The Favourite is a darkly comic movie about a all-female love triangle that occurred during Queen Anne’s court in England during the early 18th century. Directed by Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, (The Lobster) it stars Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz and Emma StoneLike Roma, it will contend in the top prize for Best Picture, and was also nominated for Best Director, Best Actress (for Colman), Best Supporting Actress (for both Weisz and Stone!) and Best Original Screenplay.

Marvel mega-hit Black Panther also made history by becoming the first superhero film to ever receive a Best Picture Oscar nomination. Rounding out the nominees in this category are Green Book, Bohemian Rhapsody — which won the top awards at the Golden Globes earlier this month — BlacKkKlansman, Vice and A Star Is Born.
