Ben Affleck Responds To Jennifer Garner’s ‘Vanity Fair’ Interview

Actor Ben Affleck‘s life is seemingly private but when Jennifer Garner aired some of their dirty laundry in her Vanity Fair interview, Affleck decided to respond.

BEN AFFLECK COMMENTS ON JENNIFER GARDNER’S INTERVIEW

A month ago, Garner sat down with Vanity Fair to address rumors that Affleck was having an affair with their nanny.

“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce,” she confessed. “I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it. But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold.’ He can cast quite a shadow.”

Speaking to the New York Times, Affleck shared: “She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with so she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it — I don’t want to do it again.’ ”

“It’s fine. She’s allowed to talk about it,” he said, adding that the two were still amicable. “Jen’s great. She’s a great person. We’re on great terms.”

Affleck also spoke of how his most recent character portrayal of Bruce Wayne being the ultimate playboy is “another way to feed the hole that he feels of emptiness inside him, just as much as going out and fighting bad guys at night.”
