After Withdrawing As Attorney General Nominee, Ex-Rep. Matt Gaetz Launches A Cameo Account Charging $525 For A Personalized Video

Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) has created an account on the video-sharing website Cameo, where he charges people more than $500 per video.

On Friday, Gaetz, who is facing allegations of misconduct and illegal drug use, started charging $250 a video but soon increased that price to $500. As of 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, he started charging over $525 and had a five-star rating on the platform.

“I served in Congress,” his page read. 

“[Donald] Trump nominated me to be US Attorney General (that didn’t work out),” he mentioned regarding his withdrawal from his attorney general nomination. 

“Once I fired the House Speaker,” Gaetz added, alluding to the time he ousted Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on October 3, 2023.

“Now listen, I may not be the Attorney General, the most powerful law enforcement officer in the land – for now,” the former Florida congressman stated in a message on Cameo.

“We actually got a great one in Pam Bondi,” he declared, referring to Trump’s attorney general replacement pick for him.

“And so I can’t – like – order Predator strikes on my enemies, as much as I would like to,” he mentioned jokingly. “For now. But I can order you to have as much fun as possible.”
