Katherine Schwarzenegger Posts Father’s Day Tribute For Arnold Schwarzenegger & Husband Chris Pratt

Katherine Schwarzenegger shared a rare photo of her father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and her husband, Chris Pratt. 

On Sunday, she posted on a picture Instagram featuring Arnold and Chris embracing and holding cigars. She captioned the photo, “Happy fathers to day to these guys! We love you a big one!” 

Mindy Kaling, who co-starred with Pratt in the movie Five-Year Engagement, commented on the post, “The best.”

Pratt has spoken about smoking cigars with his father-in-law on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy Fallon asked, “Did you have a cigar with him?” in Schwarzenegger’s famous accent to which Pratt replied, “Yes.” 

They went on to discuss how Schwarzenegger taught Pratt and Fallon how to smoke a cigar. Pratt recalls one moment when his daughter was born and Schwarzenegger asked him to smoke a cigar with him. 

“And when you’re part of, you know, bringing his granddaughter into the world, he comes and he brings you a cigar and he’s like let’s go out and smoke these.” 

Pratt did mention that he has asthma, but still wanted to commemorate the moment with Schwarzenegger. Unfortunately, he mentioned that the next day he had a “massive lung infection,” but still says the experience was “worth it.”

Katherine shared the same photo last year for Father’s Day, but that post included more photos of Schwarzenegger and Pratt. 

Chris and Katherine married in 2019 and have been together since 2018. Chris first met Schwarzenegger after he and Katherine started to get more serious. Schwarzenegger posted a video on Instagram stories that featured Chris and Katherine at a family dinner with him. 

Their first daughter was born in August 2020, Lyla. In May 2022 they welcomed their second daughter together, Eloise. 

Chris also has one son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
