Sean Combs’ ex-assistant, known only by her first name, “Mia,” recounted in front of the jury the numerous times she claimed Combs sexually assaulted her and even threatened to kill her.

For several hours on the witness stand, Mia recounted how she felt controlled and manipulated by Combs, who often got violently angry. Mia also claimed that Combs harassed her by calling her 48 times in a row, threatening to kill her if she didn’t pick up. This incident occurred during a trip she took with Comb’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in South Africa in October 2015.

The reason Combs wanted Mia to answer the phone was that Ventura had found out that Combs had cheated on her with a woman named Gina, making him desperate to speak with Ventura. Mia stated that Combs was threatening my job and then threatening to kill me, and also demanded that she get on a plane to see him, backing his requests with the same threats.

As Mia and Ventura were in South Africa at the time, Mia woke up to 48 missed calls, having slept through the difference in time zones between her and Combs.

She received many texts saying, “CALL ME NOW, If you don’t call me now f— it all. And imma tell everything,” and “don’t ever speak to me again. You have 2 mins. F— her [Cassie]. Call my [house] or never speak to me again… Let’s go to war.” She claimed these threats made her “desperate to make it right,” revealing the pressure that Combs had been putting on her.

As referenced in the text messages, Combs threatened to “tell everything,” referring to the possibility of him telling Ventura about sexually assaulting Mia. Mia didn’t back down when she was repeatedly pressed on the details in court. “Isn’t it true that Mr. Combs never had unwanted, non-consensual sex with you?” asked Combs’ lawyer, Brian Steel.

Mia responded, “What I said in this courtroom is the truth… I have not lied to anyone at all.” Steel went further, bringing up the scrapbook Mia made for Combs and her positive Instagram posts about him. Mia responded the same each time with “everything I’ve said in this courtroom is true.”

Prosecutors have shown pictures of large quantities of drugs and baby oil found at Combs house.

Last week, President Donald Trump said he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of pardoning Combs.
