Alec Baldwin Returns As Donald Trump on ‘SNL,’ Trump Tweets Negative Review [VIDEO]
Actor Alec Baldwin, who has been playing Donald Trump in many Saturday Night Live sketches before the election, returned for the first time as the President-elect. In the show last night, Baldwin’s character was shown having meetings with various people, from Mitt Romney (played by Jason Sudeikis) to Mike Pence (played by Beck Bennett).
In the sketch, “Trump” had a number of realizations about the things he promised during his campaign. One of them was about the length of the proposed wall along the Mexican border:
“2,000 American miles?” said Baldwin in a panicked voice. “Oh god. Don’t worry, Donald, Hillary is still ahead in the polls.”
When meeting with his Vice President-elect, Baldwin said:
“Heard you went to see Hamilton. How was that?”
“It was good. I got a free lecture,” Pence responded.
“Mike, you’re going to do everything, right?” the President-elect continued.
“Yes, sir,” Pence replied humbly.
After the episode, Trump took to Twitter to express his opinion of the episode. He said the show was “biased” and that there was “nothing funny at all” in it.
