Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Booed At WWE Event
On Saturday night, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker attended the WWE’s Money in the Bank show and were met with a less-than-warm welcome.
When cameras briefly located Kardashian and Barker in the audience, along with their one-year-old son Rocky Thirteen Barker, a loud chorus of boos erupted from the audience.
Kardashian publicly struggle with her fertility on her reality show, The Kardashians.
Barker good-naturedly held up a peace sign while Kardashian pointedly focused on their son, wrapping her arms around Rocky, whose back was to the camera.
The specific reasoning for the crowd’s reaction was not clear, though social media fans have posited that, similar to football fans’ anger at the camera flashing to Taylor Swift during Chiefs’ games, the WWE audience was angry at the distracting attention the A-listers drew. Seated directly behind Barker and Kardashian during the event was Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel.
Held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the WWE night opened with the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Kardashian and Barker stayed for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match but promptly left the event after. Barker was seen briefly engaging with some fans on the way out, though he kept close to Kardashian.
Barker, Kardashian and Rocky have recently been seen out as a family on numerous occasions. Earlier that same Saturday, they attended a special event for Barker in his hometown of Fontana, California, where a road was named after the Bink-182 drummer and a day dedicated to him.
Kardashian and Barker have been married since 2022.
The Money in the Bank show’s main event featured John Cena, Jey Uso, Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes, and ended with Rhodes and Uso coming out on top. The two were assisted by a hooded figure who was later revealed to be R-Truth.
It was also announced that R-Truth, 53, was released from the WWE when his contract expired after two stints in 26 years. R-Truth confirmed the news on Sunday, writing on X, “I’m sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE.”
He continued, “I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride.”
