Conan O’Brien announced Thursday on Twitter that he would be hosting a live "half-assed" comedy tour across the continental U.S. "Hey Internet: I’m headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour," he tweeted. "Go to https://TeamCoco.com for tix. I repeat: It’s half-assed."

A little under an hour later O’Brien was forced to tweet: "Alert! Teamcoco.com is jammed with too much traffic. If you can’t get on, go to https://ticketmaster.com to buy your tickets. See you soon."

PopEater.com is reporting that the tour begins April 12 in Eugene, Oragon, and ends June 14 in Atlanta. Destinations include a June 1 date at Radio City Music Hall – which is only a crosswalk away from NBC studios – and an April 24 show at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, where O’Brien tapped the Tonight Show. Missing from the tour is a stop in Michigan, the home state of O’Brien’s only Twitter friend, Sarah Killen.

Immediately following his departure from Tonight there were rumors that Conan would hit the road. Under the settlement he received from NBC, O’Brien is legally bound to stay off of television until at least September, when he is rumored to be heading to Fox. –JOE GALBO
