Yvette Prieto, Michael Jordan’s new wife, is pregnant with the couple’s first child together.

The news that Prieto, 34, and Jordan, 50, are expecting was confirmed by the former NBA star’s rep to Us Weekly.

Jordan married Prieto, a Cuban-American model, seven months ago in Palm Beach, Fla. The April 27 nuptials took place at the Bethesda-By the Sea Episcopal Church in front of over 300 guests. The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla., hosted the newlyweds’ reception, where Robin Thicke, Tiger Woods and Usher were in attendance.

“I calculated a total under-roof space of about 600 feet long by 150 feet wide,” an unidentified worker told The Miami Herald. “I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve been working weddings for a while. It looks like he’s having about 2,000 people over.” The reception gala was reportedly held beneath three large extravagant tents.

Jordan and Prieto have been together for over five years, following the Chicago Bulls All Star’s divorce from Juanita Venoy in 2006 after 17 years of marriage. They were engaged over Christmas in 2011 after meeting at a Miami nighclub in 2008.

Jordan has three children from his marriage to Venoy – Jeffrey Michael, 24, Marcus James, 22, and Jasmine, 19.
