Susan Sarandon, 77, Says She’s ‘Open To Love’ Again At ‘The Fabulous Four’ Screening In NYC
Susan Sarandon graced the red carpet at a special screening of her latest comedy, The Fabulous Four, at The Whitby Hotel in Manhattan.
The 77-year-old Oscar winner, known for her roles in Thelma & Louise and Dead Man Walking, was joined by a host of stars including Kathy Najimy, Alan Cumming, Eve Plumb and Marlo Thomas, as well as Broadway talents Montego Glover and Orfeh.
During the event, Sarandon opened up about her views on love and relationships. Despite her age, Sarandon made it clear that she remains open to new romantic possibilities. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she expressed her willingness to embrace love and adventure.
“I’m open to love,” she said. “On every level, absolutely. I wouldn’t say I’m looking for a guy to share my medicine cabinet, but I love an adventurer. I’d love to find anybody that’s still curious and passionate.”
Sarandon’s comments come amidst her daughter Eva Amurri’s recent wedding to Ian Hock.
The Fabulous Four centers on a group of lifelong friends—played by Sarandon, Megan Mullally and Sheryl Ralph—who travel to Key West, Florida, for the surprise wedding of their college friend Marilyn, portrayed by Bette Midler. The film promises a rollercoaster of fun and emotion as the friends rekindle their bonds, confront the past, and navigate a journey filled with romance and unexpected twists.
Sarandon was recently dropped from a film for comments about the Gaza war.
The Fabulous Four hits theaters on July 26.
