Dustin Diamond, who famously played Screech on Saved By The Bell, was put back in jail earlier this week in Wisconsin following an unspecified alleged parole violation.

Dustin Diamond Jailed

Diamond was booked on a probation hold at the Ozaukee County Jail on Wednesday afternoon. He had been arrested by Saukville police for an unknown probation violation, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office released the following press release on Facebook:

“DUSTIN DIAMOND was booked in as an inmate at the Ozaukee County Jail on Wednesday, 5/25/16 at 2:57pm. He is currently being detained on a probation violation issued by the WI DOC – Division of Community Corrections. The Ozaukee County Jail is simply housing DIAMOND on this probation hold, placed by his probation officer. We are not given the detail of this violation and do not know an estimated date of release. If and when we come by these details, we will share them publicly.”

Diamond’s attorney has yet to comment on the latest development involving his celebrity client.

On Christmas Day 2014, Diamond was grabbing a drink at the Grand Avenue Saloon in Port Washington, Wisconsin, with his girlfriend, Amanda Schutz. According to reports, a group of intoxicated people had confronted the couple, making Diamond feel threatened for both his and his girlfriend’s safety. In the scuffle, Diamond stabbed – supposedly accidentally – one of the men in the armpit with a pocket knife.

In December 2015, Diamond opted to withdraw his appeal and issued an apology for the incident.

Diamond was released from prison in April after serving three months of a four-month sentence for carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. He knocked off the final month of his sentence by performing custodial tasks, including laundry and mopping the prison floors.

Upon his release, Diamond still had to serve 15 months of probation and to pay $1,500 in restitution to the victim.
