Ryan Gosling In Blade Runner
In talks with Alcon Entertainment, Gosling could be the lead in the highly anticipated Blade Runner sequel, reported Deadline. The details of Gosling’s potential character have yet to be revealed, as the studio is keeping a lock on the movie’s plot. However, it is known that the story takes place several decades after the events in the 1982 film.
It was previously announced that Harrison Ford, who was the star of the original blockbuster sci-fi film, will reprise his role of replicant hunter Rick Deckard. Ridley Scott, who helmed the first Blade Runner, is serving as executive producer on the project, while Prisoners filmmaker Villeneuve takes on directing duties.
Gosling will next be seen in The Nice Guys with Russell Crowe and is currently filming The Big Short alongside Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Steve Carell. Gosling also recently made his directorial debut with Lost River.
