Reese Witherspoon’s Daughter Ava Phillippe Spends New Year’s Eve In Emergency Room

Ava Phillippe spent the final hours of 2022 in the emergency room.

The 23-year-old daughter of actors Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe shared a photo of herself receiving treatment for an injury on New Year’s Eve.

On an Instagram post, she wrote, “Starting the new year off with a bang… well more like a *pop*…in my ankle. All because my clumsy self tried to hop over a (very large) rain puddle in heels.”

She continued, “Currently feeling quite blessed to have a superstar friend and ER buddy like @jadensanders_ in my life. She seriously kept me giggling for all the hours we waited & only left my side once to go get us some cozy, dry clothes. Love you, J.”

Phillippe also asked her one million followers to share their New Year’s resolutions in the comments. She wrote “be gentler with my body” for her own.

Fans commented with good wishes and stories of their own ankle injuries.

Earlier in the week, Phillippe spent Christmas with her mom, stepfather Jim Toth and younger brothers Deacon Phillippe and Tennessee James Phillippe. Witherspoon shared the family photos on Instagram.
