Prince Harry had a secret Instagram account while he was dating Meghan Markle, an excerpt from the upcoming book, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family revealed. The excerpt appeared on Monday in a U.K. newspaper, The Times.

The book reveals that soon after the couple’s first date in London, Markle followed the account @SpikeyMau5 on Instagram which featured a photo of a mouse-shaped helmet. The account has now been identified as Prince Harry’s secret account which combined his nickname, Spike, with the name of one of his favorite DJs, Deadmau5.

The book continues to detail the early stages of Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship. They met on a blind date at Soho House’s Dean Street Townhouse in London. The next night the pair returned to the same spot for dinner and the following night, Markle visited the Prince at his cottage in Kensington Palace.

Three months after they started dating, Prince Harry told Markle “I love you,” and she quickly replied, “I love you too.”

Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, follows the couple’s entire relationship from when they first met to their decision to move to Los Angeles after stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

A spokesperson for the couple said in a statement, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom. This book is based on the authors’ own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting.”
