Hailey Bieber Confronts Allegations She Broke Up Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez

Hailey Bieber, a model who married Justin Bieber in 2018, addressed accusations that she got between Justin’s previous relationship with Selena Gomez in a new interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

In the interview, host Alex Cooper asked if she was dating Bieber at the same time as Gomez at any point, which she denied.

“It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship,” she said. “I would just never do that.”

Hailey was the target of online vitriol when it was revealed they were dating again in 2018. They had been in a very brief relationship previously from December 2015 to January 2016, and Bieber dated Gomez on-and-off from around 2010-2017.

Fans may have been overly hopeful about a Bieber/Gomez reconciliation, and responded with hostility when he linked with Hailey.

She noted that she still receives messages about it to this day, even though there is no bad blood between her and Gomez. “If I was to go live right now, it would still be happening. You reach a point where you have to ignore it,” Hailey said.

Due to a diagnosis of Ramsey-Hunt syndrome, which causes partial facial paralysis, Bieber cut his World Tour dates off earlier this month to be able to focus on his health.
