Justin Bieber Shamed For Smoking Joint Next To Teenage Brother Jaxon

Justin Bieber caught the public’s attention on Sunday when he was seen smoking a joint next to his 15-year-old brother at Coachella.

Posted to X on April 20, footage of Bieber and his brother, Jaxon, at the festival shows Bieber puffing what appears to be a joint while dancing with Jaxon next to him. It wasn’t long before Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, intervened to lead Jaxon by the shoulders out of the smoky environment.

Despite marijuana’s legal status in California and research dictating that marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol, and thus less harmful to engage in around youth, Bieber’s proximity to his brother has sparked an uproar among internet viewers who declare his behavior inappropriate and embarrassing. However, others defended the pop star, commenting, “He’s enjoying himself,” and “It’s just a blunt.”

A source close to Bieber recently revealed to People that the star’s close friends have expressed concern regarding his mental health: “He is facing a lot of different demons right now…He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business…people are worried about him.”

Bieber is constantly stirring up accusations of inappropriate or odd behavior, speculation which his representative previously declared was “exhausting and pitiful.” They further accused the critics of “keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

“As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue,” a rep said in a statement. “But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

Bieber and Hailey’s relationship is often subject to public scrutiny and rumors of separation that the couple consistently shuts down. Most recently, Hailey sparked rumors that she and Bieber were on the rocks when she appeared to unfollow him on social media. However, she quickly clarified that her account was experiencing technical difficulties, and she and Bieber were stronger than ever. Bieber similarly unfollowed Hailey a few months prior, quickly informing his followers he had been hacked.

Bieber and Hailey were seen hosting an A-list party at the Red Bull Mirage on the first weekend of Coachella. Their guests included celebrities Tate McRae, Tobey Maguire and Kendall Jenner.

Bieber has four half-siblings, including Jaxon, and sisters Allie, Jazmyn and Bay.
