Anthony Scaramucci is hoping to jumpstart his media career by joining The View as a co-host on this season’s inaugural “Guy Day Friday.”

ANTHONY SCARAMUCCI TO CO-HOST THE VIEW‘S “GUY DAY FRIDAY”

After a 10-day stint as the White House Communications Director under Donald Trump, Scaramucci has decided to move on to other things. He first appeared on multiple late night shows speaking about his time in the administration, and now he will host this season’s first “Guy Day Friday.”

“I was trying to get him on the show,” co-host Joy Behar told Vanity Fair. “We’re paesans together, you know, so, I called him and we had a very interesting conversation. Unfortunately, he learned from the New Yorker interview how to say the words ‘off the record’ so I can’t tell you too much. Also I’m under F.B.I. surveillance at this point. But we had a great conversation. Very juicy information, but I can’t say it.” She continued, “He was like, ‘is this really Joy Behar from The View? My mother loves you!’ And in the middle of the conversation he said, ‘Can I call you back? My mother’s on the other phone.’ He’s like a real mammoni. You know? He’s an Italian boy with the mommy thing.”

Earlier this week, Scaramucci announced that he will also guest host TMZ Live on Sept. 18, as well as start his own media venture called The Scaramucci Post. His Twitter bio simply says, “The best is yet to come.”

As of now, it appears the Scaramucci Post consists only of a Twitter and an Instagram account, and posts a series of polls and banter with journalists. The Twitter account only has 18 followers, including Trump, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, condemned YouTuber Pew Die PieColin Kaepernick, and the New York Mets. The account has already posted 247 tweets and garnered 14,200 followers.
