Nancy Pelosi To Appear As A Guest Judge On ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi announced that she will be appearing on the runway as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
The series is set to make its return for season three Thursday, Jan. 25 on VH1. Pelosi will belong to a pool of other guest judges, including Vanessa Hudgens, Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Marc Jacobs, Shay Mitchell, Chris Colfer, Vanessa Williams, Adam Lambert, Constance Zimmer, Emma Bunton, Todrick Hall, Garcelle Beauvais, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Nicole Byer. The main stage panel will be Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews, along with host and executive producer RuPaul.
Pelosi’s spokesperson told the Washington Post that she is most excited about joining the panel so that she can “show solidarity in the face of what she calls attacks against LGBT people by the Trump administration.” Her appearance on the show was already taped and her spokesperson said she had a “fabulous time.”
The California congresswoman, who can always be found in a pair of heels, is said to be a big fan of the show. “All I can say is, you betta werk!” Pelosi tweeted. “Had a fabulous time with @RuPaul and good luck to all the queens.”
