Young Thug and Metro Boomin were happy to debut their new hip-hop single “Hercules” today, despite the argument that took place on Twitter between the two rappers earlier this week.

Young Thug and Metro Boomin were involved in a little spat on Twitter this week, after Metro Boomin called out rappers for worrying more about how many albums they put out, rather than the quality of their music.
“All I’m saying is, I wish that everyone would put out more quality music over the quantity. It’s a marathon, not a sprint,” Boomin tweeted.
“Moral of the story is, putting out 5 tapes in a year won’t make you heat up like Future. That was just his path. It’s not for everyone,” the rapper added.
Young Thug took offense to the statement and asked Boomin who he was referring to. “Put some names on that s—t lil boy,” Thug replied.
“A n—ga music couldn’t ever sound nowhere near mines…. ((IM MICHEAL)) he’s ((TITO)),” Thug tweeted.
However, it seems the Twitter drama was nothing more than a bit of promotion for their anticipated joint album – Metro Thuggin.
Young Thug posted a video on Instagram, which has since been deleted, that teased the upcoming collaboration with the caption, “EVERYBODY SAY F—K @metroboomin !!!!,” along with the news his new song “Hercules” would premiere tonight.
Metro Boomin denied that the argument on Twitter was a publicity stunt and set the record straight.
“Ain’t no publicity stunts. There was a real misunderstanding with real emotions but it’s resolved. Thugger my brother 4 life #Hercules,” Boomin tweeted.
