Jason Momoa Shaves Off Beard To Support The Environment

Jason Momoa posted a video of himself shaving off his beard in support of the environment and the switching from plastics to infinitely recyclable aluminum.

The Aquaman actor walked to a desert plateau littered with non-recycled plastics bottles and other non-recyclables.

Momoa said farewell to his facial hair as he said goodbye to the characters who sported the signature look.

“Goodbye Drogo. Goodbye Arthur Curry,” Momoa said.

Momoa then elaborated on the benefits of aluminum over plastic and how plastics are killing the planet. He also unveiled his own line of canned drinks in support of the cause.

When it was all done, Momoa’s face was shaved clean and he looked like a completely different man.

“Aquaman is trying to do the best he can—for my kids, for your kids, for the world,” he said. “Clean up the oceans, clean up the land. Love you guys.”
