Liam Payne’s $32 Million Estate To Go Entirely To Son Bear After Singer Dies Without Will; Girlfriend & Ex-Wife Get 0
Liam Payne‘s death in October 2024 at 31 left behind a substantial estate valued at approximately £24 million ($32.2 million). The former One Direction star died without a will, leaving his entire estate in a trust for his 8-year-old son, Bear, whom he shared with ex-partner Cheryl.
Payne fell to his death from his balcony at a Buenos Aires hotel, leading to a gruesome scene. Several of his friends and members of the hotel staff have been charged with supplying him with the drugs he took that day.
Under UK intestacy laws, when an individual dies without a will and is unmarried, their estate typically passes to their children. In this case, Bear is the sole heir. Cheryl, as Bear’s mother and legal guardian, has been appointed as one of the administrators of Payne’s estate, alongside music industry lawyer Richard Mark Bray.
At the time of his death, Liam Payne was in a relationship with American influencer Kate Cassidy. Despite their plans to marry, Cassidy will not inherit any portion of the estate, as they were neither married nor in a civil partnership.

Payne had previously expressed his dedication to his son, stating, “My life now is his, my money is his.” His estate is expected to be managed in a manner that ensures Bear’s financial security as he grows up.
Burke and Bray will oversee the estate’s management until Bear reaches adulthood.
