After a setback caused by lead singer Steven Tyler‘s vocal cord injury, rock legends Aerosmith are ready to hit the road once again for their final tour, Peace Out. The band recently took to Instagram to share their excitement as they unveiled the rescheduled dates for their highly anticipated farewell tour.

The tour, which will kick off on September 20 in Pittsburgh, continues through February 26 of the following year and concludes with a final show in Buffalo, New York. Aerosmith will be joined by special guests The Black Crowes.

Back in September 2023, Aerosmith made the announcement that Tyler had suffered a vocal cord injury. In a heartfelt statement posted on their Facebook page, the band revealed that the injury was more severe than initially anticipated, as Tyler also fractured his larynx, and required ongoing care. Consequently, the remaining Peace Out farewell tour dates were postponed indefinitely after only three shows.

Tyler personally reached out to fans with the statement, “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” Tyler wrote, “I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”

Now, with Tyler on the path to recovery, Aerosmith is eager to make their return. The rescheduled North American tour, which consists of 40 dates, will serve as both a celebration of the band’s remarkable 50-year journey and their final farewell to touring.

To ensure a smooth transition, all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows.
