If you thought you had seen the last of sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear and your favorite supporting Toy Story characters after the most recent installment, which earned over a billion dollars worldwide, brought the story to a satisfying end, Disney Pixar might just have a surprise in store for you.

Oscar-winner Tom Hanks, who lends his voice to the noble protagonist, Woody, in the Toy Story franchise, recently hinted that his four-month-old granddaughter, Olivia, born to his eldest son, Colin, would have a new Toy Story to look forward to in her future. "I think there will be, yeah," Hanks told the BBC. "I think they're working on it now."

Awhile back Tim Allen, who voices Buzz, also hinted at having an option for another film in his contract with Pixar. The rumored plan was to bring the beloved characters back in pre-movie shorts, but the Oscar-winning, critically acclaimed Toy Story 3 might have just tipped the scales toward a larger project. In the meantime, Pixar is branching out with other projects, like Brave, slated for release in summer of 2012.

    Don't get me wrong, I love the Toy Story series; I grew up with those movies. But I don't know how I feel about a 4th movie. I thought the 3rd was a perfect ending for the series and the saga of the toys and Andy. Making another movie would be overkill.
