‘The Walking Dead’ Actor Moses J. Moseley’s Cause Of Death Revealed
Two months after the actor Moses J. Moseley was found dead in his car in Stockbridge, Georgia, the cause of his death has been revealed to be a gunshot wound to the head. The exact manner of his death “could not be determined” according to his autopsy report.
The report also said that Moseley “shot self with intent unknown,” so the death has not been confirmed a suicide or accident as of now. While authorities are investigating the likelihood of a suicide, they are “not ruling anything out,” and Moseley’s family has gone on record saying they think he was kidnapped and murdered.
The actor’s sister, Teerea Kimbro, said she suspected foul play because Moseley disappeared days before showing up dead, and missed a taping that he had booked which was extremely unlike him. She did acknowledge that the gun found in Moseley’s car belonged to her, and added they both enjoyed going to the gun range and had licenses to carry. Kimbro made these statements before the death certificate was released, but the family still reportedly believes that Moseley was murdered.
Moseley was 31, and best known for playing Mike, a jawless pet walker used by the character Michonne (Danai Gurira) in six episodes of The Walking Dead. He has had recent guest roles in Watchmen and American Soul. He was scouted for his first film role as an extra in Joyful Noise while still a student at Georgia State University.
