Under Armour has officially partnered up with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a global deal.

Johnson will be creating unique designs of products inspired by his life. The brand plans on producing footwear, accessories and apparel based off of Johnson’s film projects.

This partnership is off to a great start, releasing a “Rock-Inspired” duffel bag and backpack within the next few weeks. While plugging the deal on Instagram, Johnson posted, “IT’S OFFICIAL: Proud to announce our global partnership with @underarmour. A landmark deal where we’ll create the “DJ INSPIRED SERIES” of footwear, apparel & lifestyle wear for men, women and kids to chase your greatness daily. As well as support UA’s Connected Fitness initiatives.”

Johnson also produces original workout videos. He now plans to motivate others to workout and live a healthy lifestyle, while wearing Under Armour, of course. He recently noted, “We wanted to empower as many people as possible to attack their goals, so we partnered with the best innovators in the health and fitness business,” according to WWD.

Under Armour has a Connected Fitness program which includes the HealthBox tracker and Record app, which Johnson will be tapped to promote. He will also support the brand’s philanthropic initiative, the UA Freedom project, which aims to honor and support members of the US military, public safety officials and first responders.
