Nina Dobrev And Austin Stowell Confirm Romance In Hilarious Twitter Interaction

A beyond adorable interaction between new, hot young couple Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell went down on Twitter today.

Dobrev and Stowell were first linked back in June when they were spotted cozying up together in St. Tropez but kept mum on publicly confirming the romance — until now that is.

Perusing Dobrev’s twitter feed Stowell realized that, despite dating The Vampire Diaries star for nearly three months, he’d never actually clicked ‘follow’ on her page. Quick to own up to the faux pas Stowell took to where else but Twitter itself to confess his crime. Check it out below.

“That weird moment when you realize you don’t follow your girlfriend on Twitter… #socialmediaproblems @ninadobrev,” Stowell wrote, clearly seeing the funny side to the awkward situation.

Don’t be too quick to judge the Bridge of Spies actor, however, as there’s more to the story than would appear.

Seeing Stowell’s tweet, Dobrev herself realized that she had done the very same thing and also shared the revelation on the social media platform.

“That awkward moment when u realize ur not following him either&gotta do it realfast b4 he realizes,”  Dobrev wrote, quick to join in on the fun.

Not letting the social media blunder cause a rift between them Stowell was eager to point out that he had remedied the situation, making the romance “official”.
