Actress Tori Spelling, 44, has returned to her home after reportedly suffering from a nervous breakdown.

TORI SPELLING SUFFERS NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Police responded to an emergency call about her behavior and rushed to her home in Los Angeles on Mar. 1. According to TMZ, Spelling showed signs of a nervous breakdown. It is unclear who made the call to the police, but reports suggest that the actress herself called the cops to report a break-in – which turned out to be her husband, Dean McDermott, 51.

“She had no idea he had walked in the door and it scared her,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “She is obsessed with trying to make her relationship with Dean work despite all their issues. Her breakdown came after she and Dean had been fighting. She literally was hysterical and, sadly, the kids were home and everyone was scared… She is under far too much pressure,” the source added.

In the 911 call, obtained by The Blast, Spelling was described as a female with a “mental illness.” Officials from the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they received a “disturbance” call to Spelling’s home on Mulholland Drive.

“There are several things that led up to this, and she really couldn’t take the pressure any longer,” the source added. “Tori tries to be the best mom she can be, but with five children and terrible financial issues, her marriage has suffered tremendously.”

Spelling has dealt with multiple personal issues throughout the past few years, including health issues related to her pregnancy, her husband’s cheating scandal and alleged severe financial problems. In Nov. 2016, the actress was sued by American Express for $87,000 for the credit card debt she racked up. In January of the same year, she was also sued by the company for an unpaid $38,000 bill. The couple was also sued by City National Bank in Dec. 2016 for failing to pay back about half of a $400,000 loan they took out in 2012.

She and McDermott share five children between the ages of 1 and ten. The couple starred in their own reality TV series, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, which aired in 2007 and ran until 2012, submitting a name change three years in to Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Their marriage almost ended abruptly in 2013 when McDermott had an affair, but Spelling agreed to give him another chance so long as he go to therapy.
