NBA Star Anthony Edwards, Who Signed A $244 Million Contract, Demands Child Support From Mom Of Baby No. 4
NBA player Anthony Edwards has filed suit against influencer Ayesha Howard, known on Instagram as “Little Ms. Golden,” to demand genetic testing to determine if he is the father of her child.
The documents, filed in Georgia, read, “If genetic testing shows that the petitioner is the father, the petitioner requests an order establishing the minor child’s paternity.”
A meeting to resolve the case was scheduled for November 13.
Notably, Howard has not posted anything on social media about a pregnancy or future child and has been uncharacteristically inactive on her platforms for the last few months. Her last post was on May 21 and showed her in neon green leggings and a crop top at a restaurant. Howard shares her son Jason, who makes frequent appearances in her posts, with the rapper Lil Baby.
Notoriously private about his kids, Edwards is reported to be the father of a minimum of three children in the past year. His girlfriend Shannon [last name undisclosed] gave birth to his daughter in March.
In Netflix’s documentary series Starting 5, which premiered on October 9, 2024, Edwards shared about his family, “I can’t speak on fatherhood as a whole but, as of right now, it’s just the best feeling…in the world for sure. That’s my little girl. I’ve got to pick her up and walk around with her and hold her and talk to her.”
Edwards’ NBA career has earned him over $44 million in salary. With an average of 25.9 points per basketball game last season, Edwards has been named an NBA all-star twice and was included on the Team USA Olympic men’s basketball squad, which won gold over the summer. Last year he signed a $244.62 million extension for five years with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The regular season for the Timberwolves will kick off at the Lakers on October 22.
