Lori Loughlin Returns To Acting After Prison Sentence
Lori Loughlin is returning to acting this holiday season after her two-month prison sentence. The actress played a central role in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal. Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, bribed their daughters’ way into in UCLA and were caught in an FBI probe.
Loughlin will be reprising her role as Abigail Stanton in When Hope Calls, the spinoff of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart. The show will be premiering on the Great American Country Family television network. This is the first time Loughlin will act in two years. She has not appeared on screen since the college admissions scandal broke in 2019.
Her daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, is appearing in this season of Dancing With The Stars.
