Liam Payne Gets Engaged To Model Girlfriend Maya Henry

One Direction’s Liam Payne, 26, is engaged to his girlfriend of almost two years, 20-year-old model Maya Henry.

A rep for the couple confirmed their engagement after they were spotted on a date on Thursday night, where Henry sported her new giant diamond ring.

Although Payne is the more recognizable name in the couple, Henry is a successful model and comes from an incredibly wealthy family. She first became famous after her lavish quinceañera went viral. The party featured performances from Pitbull and Nick Jonas, and reportedly cost $6 million. Her family went on to create a reality show on YouTube called Hangin’ With Los Henrys, which ran for one season.

The couple began dating in 2018, but didn’t make their relationship public until September 2019, when they were seen holding hands at Heathrow airport in London. Several days later, Payne confirmed the relationship on Instagram, posting a picture of himself and Henry hugging and smiling on a couch. “Massive thank you to all my team … then last but not least this one @maya_henry for always keeping the biggest smile on my face through all the stress and making me realise how perfect my life really is🥰love you all let’s stack this shit up 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼,” he wrote in the caption.

Before his relationship with Henry, Payne had been in a relationship with singer Cheryl Cole. They share a 3-year-old son, Bear.
