Kevin Spacey Under Investigation By L.A. District Attorney

Kevin Spacey is under investigation by Los Angeles prosecutors.

There have a numerous sexual assault allegations against Spacey since 2017. Actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of attempting to make sexual advances at him while he was 14. In response, Spacey came out as gay man which lead to a social media backlash. He also issued an apology for what he called “deeply inappropriate drunken behavior.” Afterwards he checked in to a treatment facility.

“The Los Angles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault involving Mr.Kevin Spacey on December 11, 2017,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement. “The events were reported to have taken place in October of 1992 in West Hollywood involving a male adult. The investigation was completed and presented to the District Attorney’s Office Entertainment Industry Sex Crimes Task Force on April, 2018, for review and filing consideration.”

Numerous men in the United States and England have accused Spacey of sexual misconduct. In November, London police opened an investigation into two different cases made against Spacey. In January, they received a third report against him.
