Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett Writes Birthday Message To Ex Hugh Hefner

Hugh Hefner turned 91 on Sunday and his ex Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett wrote a happy birthday message on her Instagram.

She posted a photo of two of them, and wrote a sweet message. “Happy birthday Hef!! Thank you for EVERYTHING,” she began. “People might not understand you but that’s because they’ve never had the chance to know you like I do. I’ll celebrate you forever!!!”

Wilkinson-Baskett gained fame in the early 2000s while she starred in the E! reality series Girls Next Door. At the time, she lived with Hefner and the other Playboy bunnies at the Playboy Mansion. She dated Hefner for a while, but is now married to Hank Baskett.

Hefner’s son Cooper Hefner recently spoke out about his father’s health, shutting down rumors that the Playboy mogul wasn’t doing well. “He’s doing fine. My dad has always made the joke that if the mansion was your house, why would you want to leave?” Cooper said. “I think because he has stepped back from the day to day operations of the business, people have thought that his health was not very good. The reality is he has a really bad back—that happens when you’re 90—and he is enjoying life at the mansion.”

Wilkinson-Baskett also spoke to that point during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. She noted that Hefner looked “very healthy.”

“We had a great talk and we were very happy to see each other. You know and there were rumors that things are happening, but God, he’s 91-years-old! He’s gonna live longer than us!” she said.
