Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, is hoping to get back together with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian West.

The rap superstar posted a five-minute video to his Instagram page, titled “Thanksgiving Prayer.” In the video, he talked about the things he was thankful for, such as his family, and his regrets, like running for president in 2020.

At one point in the video, he began to talk about his ex-wife, and the mistakes he made in their relationship.

“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” he said. “I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”

He went on to say that his temper was made worse by alcohol and his bipolar disorder.

“I went into a manic episode in 2016 and I was placed under heavy medication,” West shared. “Since then, I went on and off the medication which left me susceptible to other episodes, which my wife and family and fans have had to endure.”

He also noted that Kardashian did not approve of his political activities, such as supporting former President Donald Trump or running for office himself.

“Good lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat,” he said. “I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance, and that was hard for our marriage.”

Kardashian filed for divorce earlier this year, after seven years of marriage.
