While Nicholas Hoult, 23, and Jennifer Lawrence, 22, are no longer a couple, the two Hollywood stars remain very supportive of one another.

At the L.A. premiere of Hoult’s film Warm Bodies, the actor spoke about his ex-girlfriend. When asked about Lawrence’s win at the SAG Awards on Sunday and her upcoming Oscar bid for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, Hoult told E! News,“Yeah, very proud.”

Lawrence has been equally supportive of him in the press. "He is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend, too," she told Elle last month. "He's my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody."

Hoult is scheduled to have a busy 2013. He can be seen in Jack the Giant Slayer, which hits theaters in March and is directed by X-Men's Bryan Singer, 47. He'll be starring alongside Stanley Tucci, 52, and Ewan McGregor, 41. In addition, Mad Max: Fury Road, which pairs Hoult with Tom Hardy, 35, and Charlize Theron, 37, is in post-production. X-Men: Days of Future Past, where Hoult will star alongside ex Lawrence, is in pre-production. Both films are slated to be released in 2014.
