Ariana Biermann, 23, Says Her Mom, ‘Real Housewives’ Star Kim Zolciak, Asks For Money, Spent Her Savings From Childhood Roles
Ariana Biermann has claimed her mother, Kim Zolciak, and stepdad, Kroy Biermann, have spent her money amid their recent divorce. Biermann was first exposed to fame through the reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta when she was five years old. During the premiere of her new series, Next Gen NYC, the 23-year-old recounted how her earnings from the spotlight haven’t gone directly into her bank account.
Biermann recounted how she got her first brand deal at 14, which required “three [Instagram] posts a week,” which could pay “astronomical” amounts. However, Ariana alleged those earnings went to her mother and stepdad instead. Ariana claimed she didn’t discover that her earnings had been drained until two years ago. “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest,” she said. “There was no transparency.”
Ariana shared that her parents’ financial woes have put a strain on her relationship with her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, when her mother calls to ask for money. During the premiere, Biermann stated, “Sometimes I don’t tell Hudson when she’s asking me for something because she’s going through this crazy divorce and living with four kids… I get it, and I never want money to destroy [my] relationship with [her].”
Hudson admitted these calls upset him. “You have to tell her, ‘No, I can’t send you money this month. You’ve already taken everything I have,'” he said. Hudson said, although “[Zolciak] says it’s money for the kids,” he isn’t sure that’s the full story. Ariana responded, “It’s not really your business.”
Kroy claimed Zolciak had a gambling problem that financially devastated their family. He also alleged she spent over $600,000 on luxury items from high-end stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Chanel between 2016 and 2023. In February, the former couple finally sold their Georgia mansion for $3 million less than the original asking price.
Next Gen NYC airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. The show will follow Biermann’s life in New York City after moving out of Atlanta.
