Halle Bailey In A Shell Dress Holds Hands With Jonah Hauer-King At London Premiere Of ‘The Little Mermaid’

Halle Bailey made quite a splash at the London premiere of The Little Mermaid on Monday, where she, alongside her co-stars Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, Jacob Tremblay, Javier Bardem, Daveed Diggs, as well as director Rob Marshall, walked the blue carpet to promote their new movie.

Bailey held hands with Hauer-King for some of the photos.

The 23-year-old, who portrays Ariel in the live-action remake of the Disney classic, attended the premiere wearing a stunning custom white gown by Miss Sohee. The dress featured a shell-like neckline adorned with silver gems that paid homage to her character’s signature seashell bra, a sheer backless detail, and a mermaid-style train.

Styled by Nichole Good, Bailey paired the look with a crystal-embellished silver headpiece and pearl earrings.

The singer-turned-actress later took to social media to express her gratitude for the London premiere, saying “big thank you London for celebrating our film tonight with us 10 more days.” She also shared a photo with her fans, saying “who i do this for.”

The Little Mermaid live-action will premiere in theaters on May 26.
