Halle Bailey In A Shell Dress Holds Hands With Jonah Hauer-King At London Premiere Of ‘The Little Mermaid’

Halle Bailey made quite a splash at the London premiere of The Little Mermaid on Monday, where she, alongside her co-stars Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, Jacob Tremblay, Javier Bardem, Daveed Diggs, as well as director Rob Marshall, walked the blue carpet to promote their new movie.

Bailey held hands with Hauer-King for some of the photos.

The 23-year-old, who portrays Ariel in the live-action remake of the Disney classic, attended the premiere wearing a stunning custom white gown by Miss Sohee. The dress featured a shell-like neckline adorned with silver gems that paid homage to her character’s signature seashell bra, a sheer backless detail, and a mermaid-style train.

Styled by Nichole Good, Bailey paired the look with a crystal-embellished silver headpiece and pearl earrings.

The singer-turned-actress later took to social media to express her gratitude for the London premiere, saying “🇬🇧❣️big thank you London for celebrating our film tonight with us 🤍🧜🏽‍♀️10 more days.” She also shared a photo with her fans, saying “🥹🥹💕💕who i do this for🥹💕💕.”

The Little Mermaid live-action will premiere in theaters on May 26.
