Kelly Clarkson Shows Off Huge 40-Pound Weight Loss As Fans Speculate About Ozempic Use
Kelly Clarkson was seen on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show wearing a gold cross ring on her wedding finger, only three years after her split from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
The ring was not the only thing fans noticed. For the show, Clarkson wore a low-cut black dress and high heels that showed off her recent weight loss.
Clarkson confronted the topic of weight during her interview with Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush. They were promoting their newest co-authored book, Love Comes First.
They were looking back at old photos when a picture of the sisters in blue dresses came up. They talked about how many dresses were “drop-waist” when they were younger. Clarkson said those dresses were “not good for girls with curves.”
Bush Hager asked, “Barbara, in my life, was I chubby?”
Her sister then responded, saying that there was “a stage” in her life where she was. Clarkson then jokingly said there were “many stages” of her life and high-fived Jenna.
They also spoke about their shared struggle when shopping for clothes. Clarkson confessed, “I love losing weight, but here’s the thing jeans are so hard when you have a butt and a smaller waist.”
Clarkson has been showing off her weight loss on Instagram. But fans have been quick to suggest that she’s had some help from Ozempic. One wrote, “Ozempic looks good on you!” while another commented, “Ozempic works wonders!”
Her weight loss comes as Clarkson goes back on the dating scene after her divorce from Blackstock.
During the show, she also spoke with Neil deGrasse Tyson about his life before becoming an astrophysicist, his upcoming book To Infinity and Beyond, and his new documentary Shot In The Arm.
She also introduced a new segment where they set up a mini planetarium using a greenscreen with photos from the James Webb Telescope. During the segment, Tyson explained all the different images to Clarkson as they “traveled” through space.
