After Lewis Hamilton finished in first Sunday afternoon, he was interviewed by the Sherlock actor. “Incredibly happy, my first win here in my eighth year, so finally got that,” Hamilton told Cumberbatch, according to The Independent. “To get a one-two is quite special, I haven't had many in my career.”
Hamilton also touched on the tragedy of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, saying, “After such a tragedy three weeks ago, I would like to dedicate this win to those people and their families.”

Once his interviewing duties were over, Cumberbatch spoke with BBC’s David Coulthard and Suzi Perry. During the chat, Cumberbatch reassured Coulthard that he wasn’t in any danger of losing his job to him.
"You're cooler and much more sort of sober and professional than I am,” he said. “So I defer to you, I don't think I'm going to steal your day job."
When Coulthard took the opportunity with the Hollywood star to pry about the future of Sherlock, Cumberbatch declined to answer. “You work for the corporation [BBC],” he quipped. “You ask them.”
