Donald Trump Jr. Attends Gala With New Girlfriend Bettina Anderson After Revelation That Tiger Woods Is Dating His Ex-Wife

Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has made it clear that he has no problem with his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, dating golf legend Tiger Woods, as he was seen looking happy at the amfAR Palm Beach gala with his girlfriend Bettina Anderson on March 15.

The event saw Anderson wear a shimmering silver sequin dress, with Trump Jr. dressed in a simple navy suit.

Trump Jr. and Anderson officially confirmed their status as boyfriend and girlfriend in December immediately following Trump Jr.’s announcement that he and his longtime fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, had split. Photos taken of Trump Jr. and Anderson cozied up together over the summer supported suspicions that Trump Jr. cheated on Guilfoyle.

A member of the Trump administration has reported that Trump Jr. is “cool” with Vanessa’s new relationship. An inside source close to Vanessa reported of her relationship with Woods, “They have a lot in common…they’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents.”

Meanwhile, Anderson has made little effort to disguise her networking efforts with her boyfriend’s inner circle and the Trump family has not welcomed her with open arms. In addition to concerns about the optics of Trump Jr.’s split from Guilfoyle for the Palm Beach socialite Anderson, major concerns have been cited that Anderson’s politics are not conservative enough. Old social media posts of hers have shown support for liberal causes such as mask mandates and Black Lives Matter.

Anderson is rumored to have been gunning for a philanthropic role within the Trump Administration, particularly something concerning “community outreach boards or advisory committees,” with the intention of serving on the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. Her goal is supposedly to bring together “the more sophisticated and liberal Hamptons and Palm Beach types of people.”

In January, an insider close to Anderson shared with People, “[Anderson] knows who she is, and is proud of her looks which she flaunts… But she understands that she needs to look and act responsible and never overshadow the rest of the family.”
