Rudy Giuliani Falls On The Floor & Struggles To Get Up At The RNC

Rudy Giuliani, the disbarred former mayor of New York City, found himself at the center of attention when he unexpectedly fell at the 2024 Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Giuliani, 80, attended the convention to cover it as part of his Rudy Giuliani Show on the FrankSpeech platform. He experienced an unexpected fall on the floor of the Fiserv Forum on the second day of the event.

Footage shared by Spectrum News producer John Park showed Giuliani tumble to the ground in a walk-through on the convention floor. According to reports, he had an Osmo camera in hand and continued to film even after he was back on his feet. The state abbreviation for Ohio’s delegates, “OH,” can be seen on the back of the row of chairs Giuliani landed amongst, a touch of irony to the unexpected incident.

Giuliani’s involvement with the RNC is not the first time he has made headlines in recent years. Prior to this incident, he had a small, apparently unwilling role in the second Borat film, where he was seen in a compromising situation with the movie’s titular character’s (Sacha Baron Cohen) teenage daughter, Tutar, portrayed by Academy Award-nominated actress Maria Bakalova. Giuliani had later called the scene a “complete fabrication” and said he was simply “tucking in” his shirt.

The 2024 RNC has already been marked by several notable moments, such as the announcement of author and junior senator for Ohio, J.D. Vance, as Donald Trump‘s running mate. Another unexpected appearance came from model Amber Rose, who took the stage to voice her support for Trump, just two days after a man opened fire on the former president at a campaign event in Pennsylvania.

Rose said, “I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump [as] President of the United States… You may be wondering why I’m up here telling you this. I’m no politician, and I don’t want to be. But, I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies, so I’m here to set the record straight.”
