Blink-182 Bassist Mark Hoppus Cancer Free: ‘That Was Weird!’
Mark Hoppus announced on his Instagram and Twitter that he is officially “cancer-free.” The Blink-182 vocalist was diagnosed with stage-four lymphoma and had been undergoing chemotherapy treatments and making regular visits to the hospital. Although Hoppus still needs regular scans for lymphoma, this is the first step towards full recovery.

Hoppus had been documenting every step of the chemotherapy process on his social media. He followed his hair regrowth on Instagram and shared updates on how he was feeling and what he was doing to stay healthy. Despite the terrifying diagnosis, Hoppus has been positive throughout the whole journey and kept a certain sense of humor. Just one day after his declaration of remission, Hoppus shared on Twitter, “Dang, remember when I had cancer?! That was weird.”
