Alec Baldwin Says Beating Donald Trump For President Would Be ‘So Easy’ For Him
Alec Baldwin, who has impersonated President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, thinks it would be “so easy” to beat Trump in the upcoming 2020 election.
On Monday, the 61-year-old actor took to Twitter to ask voters if they would support his candidacy.
“If I ran for President, would you vote for me?” he asked his more than one million followers of his Hilaria and Alex Baldwin Foundation account.
“I won’t ask you for any $,” Baldwin continued. “And I promise I will win.”
“Beating Trump would be so easy,” he concluded. “So easy. So easy.”
After the post received thousands of likes, Baldwin joked, “These tweets save me millions in polling.” Baldwin, who has been a long-time critic of Trump then took back to Twitter to continue his social media campaign on Wednesday.
“1-Beating Trump would be easy because he is a corrupt, incompetent, racist troll. You begin there,” he wrote. “Then u move on to the list of priorities we need to embrace to truly protect this country from irreversible decline. Healthcare, education, infrastructure, environmental protection … 2- corporate tax reform, energy policy, mass incarceration To name but a few.”

“But getting Trump out is the key. Coming together behind nearly anyone who will eliminate the Manchurian Moron in the WH now,” he added.
This is not the first time Baldwin and Trump have butted heads, as in February the two went at it over Twitter after the 30 Rock actor reprised his role as Trump in an SNL sketch that mocked the president’s emergency declaration over the border crisis.
