Paula Abdul's decision to leave American Idol last week shocked many fans, but according to a new report in the New York Times, it "was borne of a feeling that [Idol producers] had undermined and disrespected her for years, and jokes about her unreliability and possible substance abuse cost her lucrative endorsements." Since her announcement, Abdul has been approached by execs at ABC, NBC and Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance' about potential hosting duties. Abdul was seeking over $10 million per year after host Ryan Seacrest received a whopping raise to $15 million per year. (Photo: WENN)
